Projects
Being part of a startup company meant working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, wearing multiple hats, and juggling whatever duties came my way.
During my time at Magnifi U, I was involved in multi-faceted and time-sensitive projects and was responsible for managing cross-functional teams. Each project provided me with invaluable hands-on experience that I'm excited to take with me and apply to other industries in the future.
Below you'll find some highlights of the different projects I had the pleasure of managing.
Course Development
During my time at Magnifi U, I helped establish the course development process and managed the execution of over 100 courses. My responsibilities included:
Creating the work-back schedule and performing project tracking for pre-production process
Scheduling cross-functional meetings across the Content, UX/UI, ID, Design, and Creative teams to ensure that all components of courses were being developed on time in order to be production ready
Production planning with Creative and Design team
Studio Production
On a parallel path to pre-production course development, I worked closely with the Creative Director to plan and execute the pre-production, production, and post-production processes for filming. My responsibilities included:
Ensuring all necessary crew positions and equipment gear were filled and ordered
Working with the Creative and Content team to select talent
Assisting in travel and lodging accommodations for talent
Preparing talent tax and payroll paperwork
Assisting in the day of production
Working with Creative/Design team to establish a post-production workflow plan
Working with post-house team and providing post-production plan with deliverables and deadlines

Overseeing the creation of a podcast from start to finish
Developing a work-back schedule for the team to execute the project
Scheduled meetings as necessary across Content, Design, and Creative teams to ensure all components were being developed according to the plan
Vendor Relations
In my role, I had the opportunity to work with outside vendors. Some of my responsibilities included:
Acting as a liaison for the post-house team to ensure all necessary assets were delivered to meet the provided post-production timeline
Working with an Audio/Visual production vendor for a speaking event
Working with staff from a local college to plan event
Working with a marketing/creative team to deliver marketing and social asset materials
Magnifi U Voices
The team had an idea to bring Magnifi U's eLearning content to the local community. This led to the first live event for the company, a speaker series called Magnifi U Voices. Some of my responsibilities included:

Assisting in the creation of a campus-wide student survey to gather feedback
