A B O U T

Just like my Golden Retriever Rosie, I'm loyal and dependable.

Born and raised in Upstate New York. I am a daughter, sister, aunt, and fiancé who values family, friendships, integrity, and meaningful work.

I graduated from SUNY Brockport in 2019 with a degree in Healthcare Administration and Consumer Health. Following graduation, I began my career as a secretary at UR Medicine Strong Memorial Hospital. My time as a secretary was extremely fast-paced, I spoke with numerous patients and insurance companies a day, spent a substantial amount of time organizing and distributing paperwork, and worked very closely with provider teams to administer quality patient care. This environment taught me how to manage my time, pay attention to detail, and express patience and empathy toward the people I was working with.

Fast forward to early 2021, I was presented with an opportunity to join a startup EdTech company. Historically, up until that point, I was not much of a risk taker, and without much background knowledge or experience, I felt called to make this move and took the leap of faith into the tech space and fell into a project management role. This move was the biggest challenge I have faced in my career. I was now working in an industry I didn't go to school for and working alongside people from all walks of professional life. I went from a very independent position to working with cross-functional teams every day. Initially, the pace wasn’t quite as fast as I was used to, and I didn’t fully understand all the steps it would take to get things done. But this job turned out to be a huge blessing in my life. I learned how to implement processes from scratch, how to work with people that possess many different skills from myself, and how to take the time management and organization skills I learned for myself at my past job and incorporate that into this position from a team angle, rather than a personal angle. I learned that I have a knack for project management.

I am very detail-oriented and take pride in quality control. I love the satisfaction of checking things off, and I have the ability to be in tune with those around me and offer a people-centric approach to ensure my team has everything needed to successfully do their tasks.

Here are how my top 5 show up in my life.

I am a person who others can depend on. I am someone who others turn to for an honest perspective about a project, person, event, or idea. I streamline my day by regularly adhering to well-established courses of action. I rely on these familiar patterns for the sake of efficiency. I have the ability to tune in to each person’s unique situation and I can comprehend someone’s thoughts and feelings. I prefer to be in charge of situations, materials, schedules, budgets, human resources, processes, or decisions. Diligence, persistence, and concentration are three of my distinguishing traits.
